We are a life on life ministry. What does that mean?
It means that we believe that the best way to share the gospel of Jesus is in the midst of a real life relationship. It also means that we believe that the best way to help believers grow in their walk with the Lord is to be involved in committed and deep relationships with people who can lead them. The concept of Life on Life makes us committed to engaging youth where they are and spending our lives for them.
1 Thessalonians 2:8
So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.
Paul was willing to give his life to the Thessalonians because they had become so dear to him. Paul loved the people that he was ministering to so much that he gave them himself. A ministry of love to those who long for relationships and a ministry of selflessness to a selfish world.
This is the ministry we find our Lord engaged in when we read the gospels. He called men to himself( John 1), he walked alongside these few men , he modeled for them and taught them (Matt 5), he encouraged them (Matt 16:17) and rebuked them(Matt 16:23) , he lived life with them and ultimately gave his life for them and for all of us.
If you love you students, if you spend time with your students, if you teach and admonish your student and if you call them to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Then you already are doing Life on Life ministry.
Join us in our journey to help students treasure Jesus and worship God by spending our lives for them. Join us as open our lives to them. Join us as we seek to help believers become God centered worships and disciples of Jesus.
